Our standard double room had central heating, a work desk, tea and coffee making equipment. The staff were more than adequate and attentive and the location was incredible down to lake. It was as expected, had a good stay in a very long time.

Convenient design, breakfast was EXCEPTIONAL. Service was first-class in the very traditional hotel. Warm drinks, good wifi were a nice surprise. We enjoyed a bright restaurant with a homemade menu.

Nothing beats being in Derwentwater. Beautiful location; hotel has free parking. The room is reasonably priced. It had nice swimming pool too. There's Farmers Arms with nice shots minutes away from the venue.
